PJ’s latest pizza parlour is a welcoming place for wood-fired warmth. For a tasty introduction, try the standard-bearer: Pepo’s Margherita is creamy with the milky richness of buffalo mozzarella, complete with fresh basil and olive oil on a tomato base, a little sloppy but not soggy, with a light crust that’s a mildly flavoursome foundation for what lies above (RM26). We might order the Quattro Formaggi of mozzarella, scamorza, gouda and gorgonzola next. Wines are currently available only by the bottle.
